Talks, after-dinner speeches, poetry reading and storytelling
Although he is a National Champion Town Crier, Alistair doesn’t shout all the time!
In fact his reading voice has been compared to Richard Burton’s or Peter O’Toole’s. Listen to his velvet tones as he reads some of Hardy’s best poems or a ghostly tale. He is available for poetry-readings, story-telling and voice-overs.
Alistair gives talks to local groups on a variety of subjects such as ‘Dorchester a small town with plenty to shout about’, the Tolpuddle Martyrs, Thomas Hardy and William Barnes and the life of a Town Crier. He is a well-known after-dinner speaker.
Alistair can also act as an MC for your event or as toastmaster at weddings and special occasions. He has made a number of appearances on radio and television.
